This week, we decided to try de-glutening another recipe,

We selected this recipe for Chocolate Crinkle Cookies, as Madi has had them before and said they were delicious.

We started by assembling all of our ingredients and preheating the oven to 350 degrees

We whisked together the oil and sugar

Then we added in the egg and vanilla

We substituted regular flour with gluten-free flour and mixed it with cocoa powder and salt

We mixed our dry and wet mixtures together, and then chilled the dough in the refrigerator for 15 minutes

We formed the dough into 1 1/2 inch balls, and rolled them in confectioner’s sugar. At this point, we put them in the oven for 9 minutes.

And… the finished product!

Here is the verdict from the Taste Test!

Everyone thought they were really good! They seemed less grainy than our Gluten-Free Monster Cookies. Madi and I aren’t huge chocolate people – but the people we offered them too all really liked them!

Cheers!
